Text Box: A man went home after preaching and waited for his wife to compliment him for his preaching. Because she remained silent, he eventually said, “There aren’t many great expositors left.” To which she replied, “You’re right, but there is one less than you think!” Warren WiersbePennine

1. A word to preachers about their wives, and 2. Vice versa!

The program:

Starting at 7.45 pm with a 20 minute review and comments by one of the men, followed by discussion for 40 minutes relating to the topic. Including time for refreshments men should be leaving shortly after 9.00 pm.

The purpose:

To foster fellowship and growth among local preachers who are committed members of their local church and are unreservedly and wholeheartedly evangelical . We seek to enable reflection, discussion and interaction on practical aspects of preaching and teaching ministry.

The organisation:

The meeting is owned by the churches whose pastors attend the meetings. They decide together the content, venue and timing. Please refer any questions to your pastor, or to David Harding by phone or email.

“If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the Word of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Him.

Where the battle rages there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battle front besides, is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.”
